Officeserv SVMI
The
SVMi Voicemail system is completely integrated with the Samsung
Officeserv telephone system. This integration provides features that
make the SVMi much easier to use than other voice mail systems.
Depending on the Officeserve system, The SVMI voicemail can be configured with 4, 8, 12, 16 or 20 ports. Hard drive systems can have virtually unlimited amount of mail boxes.
Some SVMI Features:
Auto Attendant: Auto Attendant allows all or some calls to be answered automatically. Prompts are recorded to suit your particular business and main greetings and prompts can change for off hours, and holiday answering.
Alphabetic Directory: Callers who do not know the extension number of the person they wish to speak to can connected by entering the first few letters of the persons name.
Voice Mail Transfer: Allows calls to be sent directly to mail boxes without ringing the users phone.
Direct Messaging/Quick Memo Easily leave a message for yourself or another person without calling the extension first.
Phantom Mailbox You may have mailboxes on the system that do not have associated stations. This is ideal for employees outside the office that need have a mailbox on the office system.
Caller ID Compatible Caller ID information is saved with the message.
Multiple Language Support System and mailbox prompts can be individually set to a specific language. 12 languages are available.
Operator Access Callers may connect with an available operator any time by dialing 0.
Answering Machine Emulation: This feature allows mailbox owner to monitor calls being left in the voice mail box using the speaker of your Officeserve phone set. It functions very much like screening a call on your home answer machine.
Date and Time Stamp Each message you receive will be stamped with the time and date of its arrival.
Message Notification When you have messages in your mailbox, you may be alerted at your cell phone, home phone or any other phone.
Personal Mailbox Administration mailbox owners may change settings for your mailbox any time you like. Personalize the greeting that callers will hear, your name, password and notification options.
Keyset Display: The Officeserv telephone set displays prompts from the voice mail system. An indication on your keyset tells you when you have new messages. Press one button to connect with your voice mail.
New / Old Selection When you access your mailbox you may chose to listen to either new or old messages.
Message Scan while retrieving messages.
Forward and Rewind Skip through a message.
Append Messages received in your mailbox
Pause while listening to your messages.

centralized voicemail/messaging system for multiple sites that
are networked together using Samsung proprietary networking

receptionist,
ensuring that calls are efficiently routed to the appropriate
person or department. Callers may also dial another extension number,
transfer to an operator,
accessing pre-recorded and stored information, or
connect to voicemail box. Flexible management options let you easily
create new
professional greetings or call queue messages using pre-recorded wav
files. OfficeServ
IP-UMS also allows changes to Auto Attendant configuration, routing
options, and destinations settings to be easily made from the browser
based administration page. New Greetings may also be created by typing
in
your new greeting and the
Text-to-Speech engine will read out the message for you.
Text-to-Speech (TTS)
Officeserv UMS
Text-to-Speech capabilities allow users to dial into their mailboxes
and have their email messages read to them by the OfficeServ IP-UMS
server. TTS reads the sender's
name and subject, and you can choose to listen to the e-mail content.
Desktop faxing
Send and
receive faxes from your PC with no more dedicated lines, fax modems,
fax machines and no more waiting time! Fax on Demand - Frequently
requested documents such as price lists and order forms can be stored
in your Messaging Server's memory for callers to easily download on to
their own fax machine freeing up valuable resources to perform other
tasks.
Easy Management
Administrators and users
log into a convenient web-accessed
administration page and manage system changes remotely - including
programming personal greetings, find me and follow me routing and call
routing modifications for the built-in auto attendant.
Personalized Voicemail
With the aid of either
voice
instructions or the screen prompts on the OfficeServ handset LCD
screen Samsung
OfficeServ Voicemail puts the user
in control. Employees can easily navigate Samsung OfficeServ Voicemail,
record their own personal greetings they are
alerted to new messages via a message waiting lamp, the LCD
screen of
their OfficeServ handset, cell phone or pager. Samsung
OfficeServ Voicemail goes one step
further, allowing users to intelligently route callers with different
greetings and employing call routing based on time of day, day of week,
caller ID and Direct Dial Inward (DDI).
